So I am sure everyone is familiar with Drake‘s new song “Fancy”. Since the release of Thank Me Later the term “oh you fancy huh” has become an instant catch phrase. My only problem with the song is that they took Mary J. Blige almost completely off the record.
“Fancy” was originally Mary J. Blige‘s song, but for whatever reason Swizz Beats gave the track to Drake. I like both versions, but I think Mary’s is better. Regardless, they should have at least kept Mary’s verse on there. They even turned down her vocals on the chorus! She is included on the credits, but she is very unnoticable on song. What do you think? Below is both versions of the song.
